Belly Dance Classes with Neisa Salima

Group Classes

Neisa will be teaching new group classes at NVision Dance Studios, 750 Garden of the Gods Road, starting August 11th!

Neisa is teaching two eight-week classes on Wednesday evenings:

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Level II Belly Dance
Continue your study of belly dance with new moves and drills beyond those taught in my Level I class. To help you learn to integrate these moves and their transitions, we will continue the choreography from the Level I class into a complete, performable dance. You do not need to know the choreography from the Level I class. A minimum of beginner or above previous belly dance experience is required: you should already be familiar with basic moves such as hip lifts, various forms of hip figure eights, shimmies, snake arms, etc.
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Level III Belly Dance -- Smoothness and Grace

Improve your dance by mastering smooth and graceful moves, both slow and fast! This class will help you develop a flowing quality to your movement, including control and balance for all types of moves and will even address the question of what to do with arms. Zills (finger cymbals) are optionally used in some of the warm ups. A minimum of Level II or other previous belly dance experience (approx. 16 weeks of study) is required; please contact Neisa if you have any questions.

Preregistration Deadline: August 1, 2010

Cost: $12 per class. If preregistered/prepaid by August 1st, you may take the entire course for $80 -- a discount of $12 (otherwise, $96 for a course). Drop-ins are welcome. NVision accepts cash, check, or credit/debit cards (in person only for credit/debit). You may mail a check to

You may also slip a check through NVision's door to preregister/prepay if they are closed. Make sure it lists your name and which class you are registering for in the memo line. If you have any questions about preregistration, please contact NVision at (719) 268-6828.

Please note: A minimum of five pre-paid people are required to run each course. Therefore, if you plan to attend regularly, even if you do not make the preregistration discount deadline, please contact NVision Dance at (719) 268-6828 If there are not at least five people who have signed up prior to the start of a course, that course will be canceled.

Neisa will not be running a Level I class this session. The next expected Level 1 class should start the first week of October.
